Here are they points observed by Punjab and Haryana high court on Patiala Police, controversial SSP Nanak Singh and his conduct.
1. Justice Moudgil said that a comprehensive text was sent at 9:48 Am to Patiala SSP  Nanak Singh, a day after the incident, yet there was no FIR
2. Justice Moudgil expressed shock that Patiala Police used a statement by a dhaba owner Karanjot to register a case against Army officer but did not use medico-legal record available on grievous injuries on Colonel Pushpinder Bath till eight days
3. Controversial SSP Nanak Singh did not preserve CCTV footage of incident
4. 20 calls were made to police authorities in Patiala
5. Four Inspectors Harry Boparai,Rauni Singh, Shaminder Singh and Harjinder Dhillon came out of the SUV and took away the mobile phones despite Colonel reminding him that he was stationed at a sensitive post and his phone contained sensitive information.

Punjab IPS, caught in Army officer assault row, also facing HC case on harassment of Chandigarh oncologist

1. Despite questions sent to IPS Nanak Singh, he did not reply on why he pressed for fresh charges against Goyal and Oberoi into this case when a civil suit was being heard and a mutation order by SDM on March 12, 2024 categorically said that the possession and transfer by the Chandigarh family was clean.

2. The Chandigarh-based cancer specialist and a family, which owns 6-acre land a in Budhladha in Punjabโ€™s Mansa district, has told the HC how Nanak Singh began harassing them since 2023 , during his tenure as Mansa SSP, over a 2006 real estate transaction where they are building a hospital.
