While a substantial number of enthusiasts have visited cinemas to experience the cinematic extravaganza, a sizable audience is eagerly awaiting the movie’s release on OTT platforms to relish its excitement in the convenience of their homes. Here’s some positive news for these fans.

Anticipated to follow the industry norm, the OTT release date for ‘Animal’ is expected to align with the prevalent trend, where films typically make their streaming debut 45 to 60 days after their initial theatrical premiere. Considering that ‘Animal’ graced theatres on December 1, it is likely to adhere to this schedule. As a result, fans of Ranbir Kapoor and Rashmika Mandanna can look forward to its OTT premiere in the second or third week of January. Netflix has secured the official streaming rights for this high-octane film.

The sensational movie is set to be available for streaming on the renowned platform Netflix, which is the designated streaming partner for the film. The OTT version is said to also incorporate certain scenes that were excluded from the theatrical release, and additional details such as the final runtime will be disclosed soon.

Reportedly, the makers are eyeing the festive Sankranti week for the OTT release, with January 14th or 15th being potential chosen days. This strategic timing aims to capitalise on the increased holiday viewership during that period, enhancing the film’s reach and reception among audiences.
