Business tycoon Mukesh Ambani’s son Anant tied the knot with Pharmaceutical tycoon Viren Merchant’s daughter Radhika on July 12. The wedding was followed by the Shubh Ashirwad ceremony on July 13. The wedding reception on Sunday, July 15, wrapped up the months-long celebrations of the son of Billionaire Anant Ambani, who married his longtime girlfriend with a price tag running into the millions.
The Shubh Ashirwad ceremony was also attended by many cricketers like Rishabh Pant, KL Rahul along with his wife Athiya Shetty, Jasprit Bumrah along with his wife Sanjana Ganesan, Suryakumar Yadav along with his wife Devisha Shetty. Former Indian captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni, along with his wife Sakshi and daughter Ziva and Hardik Pandya attended the event.
Radhika Merchant was adorned in a contemporary Indian silhouette curated by renowned designers Anamika Khanna and Dolce & Gabbana. Her attire, a masterpiece blend of cultures and craftsmanship, featured Dolce & Gabbana’s exquisite Alta Moda Sardegna 2024 corset adorned with intricate filigree embroidery. This was complemented by a custom drape and skirt by Anamika Khanna, shimmering with tone-on-tone gold embroidery that exuded grace and elegance.
In contrast to Radhika’s radiant ensemble, her husband Anant Ambani opted for a classic midnight blue bandhgala sherwani, complementing the festive ambience of the ceremony.
Mangal Utsav celebrations, saw a galaxy of stars gracing the occasion. Personalities such as Sobhita Dhulipala, Rajkummar Rao, Patralekhaa, Aditi Rao Hydari, Tamannaah Bhatia, and many others from Bollywood added their sparkle to the event.
Former British Prime Ministers Boris Johnson and Tony Blair, as well as Kim and Khloe Kardashian, Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas, American wrestler and actor John Cena, Bollywood superstars Amitabh Bachchan, Shahrukh Khan and Salman Khan were among the celebrities who attended the ceremonies on Friday and Saturday.
