In the 13th episode of REASON hosted by The New Indian Editor-in-Chief Aarti Tikoo, Jammu & Kashmir Apni Party President and former minister Altaf Bukhari speaks about his entry into politics, impact of nullification of Article 370 and 35A, and allegations of his party being the ‘B’ team of BJP.
Bukhari gives credit to the BJP for maintaining peace and tranquility in the Valley after the degradation of J&K’s status to Union territory.
He accuses People’s Alliance for Gupkar Declaration (PGAD) including National Conference of manipulating people of Kashmir and playing politics of deceit.
“I will give credit to the prime minister and his leadership for taking the country to such a height and also for his decision to conduct panchayat elections in Kashmir,” he says.
