NEW DELHI: After facing allegations of acquiring and trading illegal snake venom at rave events, Elvish Yadav, the winner of Bigg Boss OTT Season 2, vehemently dismissed the accusations as “false” in a video posted on microblogging site X, on Friday.
Yadav said that the allegations were not even “one per cent true” and all of the charges had been fabricated against him. “The allegations are baseless and not even one per cent of it is true. These allegations are all false,” Yadav said. He further added that he was willing to offer full support to the Noida police and consequently, the Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, during the investigations.

“If any of the authorities, including UP CM Yogi Adityanath, find even one per cent of my involvement in this case, I will gladly claim full responsibility and go to jail. However, I would also like to request media houses to not hold me guilty unless I am proven guilty,” he said.
Earlier this morning, Yadav was charged with procuring and selling snake venom to partygoers in Noida and Gurugram in Uttar Pradesh and Haryana, respectively. These allegations had been made according to a complaint that had been filed by Gaurav Gupta, the Animal Welfare Officer at the People For Animal (PFA) organisation.
FLASH: BJP member and animal welfare activist Maneka Gandhi says that they were tracking Elvish Yadav for a long time.

The FIR stated, “About 20 ml of snake venom was found in a bottle and a total of nine snakes were found (seized) from the suspects, including five cobras, one python, two two-headed snakes (sand snake) and one rat snake (horse back snake). When asked, the suspects told that they use these snakes and snake venom at rave parties.”
The complaint had been made by Gupta regarding videos that had surfaced on social media showcasing Yadav with an array of exotic reptiles, most significantly, snakes, at numerous rave parties across the National Capital Region.
Earlier this year, Elvish was garlanded by the Haryana government, led by BJP leader Manohar Lal Khattar, for winning Bigg Boss OTT 2. However, the recent criticism of Khattar’s blue-eyed boy by BJP leader Maneka Gandhi is likely to leave a few heads rolling as she mentioned that her organisation had been monitoring his activities for over a year and provided the investigating authorities with the evidence.
Presently, the YouTuber has been summoned by the Noida Police.
