Brinda Karat also expressed her concerns, condemning the central government and the Lieutenant Governor (LG) for their policies regarding Delhi’s water issues. “Atishi’s hunger strike has not bothered the Centre and LG at all, whereas this is not her fight but the fight of the people of Delhi,” she remarked.

Atishi, a senior AAP leader, has been on an indefinite hunger strike in Jangpura’s Bhogal since March 21, demanding that Delhi receives its fair share of water from Haryana. Her health became critical on the fifth day of the hunger strike, leading to her hospitalization. Despite her condition, she remains determined to continue her fight for Delhi’s water rights once her health improves.
