Two Non-Muslim Teachers Shot Dead By Terrorists In Srinagar, Two Days After Three Killed

SRINAGAR: Two days after the killing of popular Kashmiri Pandit pharmacist ML Bindroo, terrorists today shot and killed two teachers Safa Kadal area of Srinagar district.

The two killed were government school teachers, identified as Sukhwinder Kaur and Depak.

One of them is a Kashmir Pandit and while the woman belongs to the Sikh community.

On Tuesday evening, terrorists shot dead Makhan Lal Bindroo outside his medical shop, near Iqbal Park in Srinagar. The dastardly act evoked strong outrage in Kashmir where the Hindu community is in minority.

Bindroo’s daughter slammed the terrorists for carrying out a cowardly act and dared them for a debate. Speaking to reporters, Shraddha said, “he will never die, you can only kill the body, not the ones who has developed. If you have the guts, come and face me.”

The two others killed on Tuesday were a snack vendor in the city and another civilian in Bandipora, identified as Mohammad Shafi, the president of a taxi stand in the locality.

The street food vendor was identified as Virender Paswan, a native of Bhagalpur in Bihar.

Jammu and Kashmir Director General of Police (DGP), Dilbag Singh today said that those behind the recent civilian killings will soon be exposed.

“This is a conspiracy to defame Kashmiri Muslims and target those who come from other states for livelihood here,” he added.
