Vivek Bindra is facing serious allegations of domestic violence.

NEW DELHI: The Noida Police have raised alarm over the possibility of motivational speaker Vivek Bindra compelling his wife to retract her domestic abuse complaint, shedding light on a concerning pattern witnessed in such cases.

A police source told The New Indian, “There is a pattern that can be observed where most wives retract their complaints. In this case too, the pattern might be the same.” The source added that any legal action against Bindra hinges on the discovery of additional evidence.

Furthermore, a source at the Sector 126 Police Station acknowledged that despite substantial evidence, the case could be dismissed if Bindra’s wife claims she filed the complaint “under pressure.”

“I am just waiting for her to waltz into the station with an affidavit stating that she was forced to file the complaint. She could also do it when the case reaches the court and produces an affidavit, villainising us,” the source expressed concerns.

Police officers added that there is apprehension in navigating the case’s proceedings due to the involvement of two additional entities, motivational speaker Sandeep Maheshwari and Bindra’s wife’s lawyer.

“The involvement of another motivational speaker, Sandeep Maheshwari, and even Yanika’s (Bindra’s wife) lawyer has made the proceedings more difficult. There is pressure from them to arrest Vivek, but we cannot really do anything until we find the appropriate evidence,” the source explained.

Previously, Maheshwari had accused Bindra of a Rs 500 crore scam through his business crash course.

Currently, Vivek remains elusive, with the police revealing his absence from his residence in Supernova West Residency, Noida. “We won’t find him unless a charge sheet is filed and the investigation progresses further,” the police source noted.

Vivek Bindra, a prominent motivational speaker and entrepreneur, has become the latest addition to the list of YouTubers and influencers entangled in scandals.

Earlier, ‘Big Boss OTT’ Season 2 winner, Elvish Yadav, faced scrutiny for allegedly selling illicit snake venom at rave parties across Delhi-NCR.
