Adnaan Shaikh joins Bigg Boss OTT 3 as first wildcard contestant

NEW DELHI: Social media influencer Adnaan Shaikh entered the Bigg Boss OTT 3 house on July 14, marking his debut as the season’s first wildcard contestant. This shake-up comes shortly after the eviction of Chandrika Dixit, famously known as Delhi’s viral vada pav girl, during the Weekend Ka Vaar episode.

Adnaan Shaikh, a prominent fitness influencer with over 11.4 million followers on Instagram, rose to fame through his engaging TikTok videos alongside friends. He is a member of the popular Team 07 group, which includes Faizu Shaikh, Hasnain Khan, Shadan Farooqui, and Faiz Baloch. Previously, Adnaan participated in the second season of MTV’s reality show, Ace Of Space, and has appeared in several advertisements with Bollywood actor Akshay Kumar.

Apart from his social media fame, Adnaan is an entrepreneur, owning a gym and physical fitness center. He also runs an NGO focused on women’s welfare and has pledged to donate his earnings from Bigg Boss OTT 3 to this cause. The 30-year-old influencer has featured in multiple music videos, including “Badnaam,” “Nazar Na Lag Jaye,” “Diamond Ring,” “Rang Lagaya Tune,” “Kaisa Yeh Manzar,” “Dharam,” “Ghar Aaya Mera Pardeshi,” and “Hawa Aane De.”

Adnaan’s entry is expected to alter the dynamics within the Bigg Boss OTT 3 house. He reportedly shares a good rapport with contestants Vishal Pandey and Sana Sultan, which could influence alliances and rivalries.

Bigg Boss OTT 3, hosted by Anil Kapoor, premiered on June 21, 2024. The initial lineup included Chandrika Dixit, Ranvir Shorey, Shivani Kumari, Sana Makbul, Vishal Pandey, Lovekesh Kataria, Deepak Chaurasia, Sai Ketan Rao, Munisha Khatwani, Sana Sultan Khan, Armaan Malik, Payal Malik, Kritika Malik, Neeraj Goyat, Naezy, and Poulami Das. Since then, Neeraj, Payal, Poulami, Munisha, and Chandrika have been evicted, with Adnaan Shaikh now joining as the first wildcard contestant.
