Adani Group, Dream11, Balrampur Chini Mills to Sponsor Syed Modi India International Championship 2022

NEW DELHI: Adani Group, Dream 11 and Balrampur Chini Mills will now be the sponsors for the ongoing Syed Modi India International Championship 2022 being held at Babu Banarasi Das Badminton Academy in Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh.

International badminton players like PV Sindhu, Evgeniya Kosteskaya, Sourabh Verma, HS Prannoy among others are participating in the tournament which is being held amidst strict Covid-19 protocols. Players and officials will take RT-PCR and Rapid Antigen Test daily to ensure a safe bio-bubble.

President of UP Badminton Association, IAS Navneet Sehgal said that “we are absolutely delighted to have esteemed organizations like Adani Group, Dream 11, Balrampur Chini Mills come on board as sponsors for a very esteemed International tournament. Sport has suffered immensely due to COVID 19 and thankfully, things are improving and players are getting an opportunity to play. We are ensuring a safe and protected environment for them to play. Uttar Pradesh is growing as a hub of sports and now that the state has adopted badminton and wrestling there is a long way to go.”

Head and Chief Policy officer Dream Sports of Dream Sports foundation, Kiran Vivekananda said that “Dream 11 is honoured to partner with UP Badminton association for the upcoming edition of the historic Syed Modi International Badminton Tournament.

“As a sports engagement platform, it is our constant endeavour to support the growth & development of sports in the state and our support towards the Syed Modi International Tournament 2022 is a significant move in that direction. We look forward to further collaborating and supporting the UP Govt and wish all the participants in the tournament the very best.”
