New Delhi: The Aam Aadmi Party’s (AAP) youth and student wing staged a massive protest on Wednesday outside the residence of Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan, alleging rigging in the NEET exam.

According to their pre-announced program, AAP’s student and youth wings gathered outside the Union Education Minister’s residence with banners and posters denouncing the alleged NEET scam. They chanted slogans criticizing the central government and demanded the resignation of the minister on moral grounds. The protest was led by AAP MLA Sanjeev Jha.

The AAP accused the Delhi Police of intervening and using lathi-charge when protesters resisted attempts to meet with the Union Education Minister. The demonstrators insisted on a re-examination to ensure equal opportunity for all students affected by the alleged rigging.

Jha emphasized that the government’s actions were endangering the future of the nation’s youth. He pledged that AAP would continue their efforts for justice, from the streets to the Parliament. The alleged rigging in the NEET exam has affected thousands of students, prompting widespread calls for its cancellation and a thorough investigation by a committee headed by a retired judge.

“The issue of NEET exam rigging has been raised not only by parents and students but also by AAP leaders,” Jha stated. “We demand the formation of a committee led by a retired Supreme Court judge to investigate this scam. We were supposed to discuss these concerns with Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan today, but we were obstructed by the police. What is Dharmendra Pradhan afraid of? The parents, students, and people of the country deserve answers.”

Earlier on Tuesday, AAP had also protested on the same issue, reiterating their demands for a fair investigation into the NEET exam allegations.
