NEW DELHI: Delhi Chief minister Arvind Kejriwal on Monday announced that the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) will provide employment to every unemployed youth of Gujarat if it comes to power in the coming state assembly elections.
AAP’s national convenor also said the party will offer ₹3,000 per month as an unemployment allowance to the youths.
“Government will provide 10 lakh government jobs to the youth of Gujarat. We will introduce strong laws against paper leaks, eliminate corruption in the cooperative sector and ensure jobs for the youth,” said Arvind Kejriwal while addressing a Jan Sabha in Rajkot’s Veraval.
“If you want your child to be fed spurious liquor, vote for them (BJP), if you want employment and education for your child, vote for AAP,” Kejriwal added.
He also said that before the election, parties write anything in the manifesto and after the election, they say that it was a ‘Jumla’, AAP delivers every single guarantee it announces.
“If we don’t fulfil our guarantees in the next five years, then next time throw us out of Gujarat,” he added.
AAP, in its earlier promise, has given a guarantee to waive all electricity bills till December 31, 2021, besides providing 300 units of free 24×7 electricity to every family in Gujarat.
