Deputy CM Manish Sisodia launched new AAP campaign for Delhi MCD elections.

Amid the ongoing full-fledged campaigning, the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) on Monday launched another campaign ‘Kejriwal Ki Sarkar, Kejriwal Ka Parshad’ for the civic elections, seeking victory of party candidate in every ward.

The campaign argues that it will be easy for AAP to carry out development initiatives where the party has its councillor. ‘Kejriwal Ki Sarkar, Kejriwal Ka Parshad’ loosely translates to ‘Kejriwal is in government in Delhi and there should be Kejriwal’s councillor in all 250 wards.

Elections for the Municipal Corporation of Delhi (MCD) will take place on December 4 and voting will happen three days later.

Addressing a press conference, CM Kejriwal’s deputy Manish Sisodia said that the AAP is going to snatch the administration of the MCD from the BJP in this election.

“Since AAP is forming government in MCD, we want to ensure victory on every seat. Otherwise, the BJP councillor will not allow us to work in his area. That is why we are launching this new campaign,” he said.

He said that the next phase of AAP campaigning will be in line with the motto of the new campaign.

“If a BJP candidate wins on any seat even by mistake, they will not only abuse Kejriwal Ji but also stop development works in that area,” he tweeted.

Sisodia further said the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) which has ruled the MCD for 15 years has done nothing to project its development work. All their leader do it to abuse AAP convenor Arvind Kejriwal every day.

“The BJP did nothing except for building mountains of garbage. After three landfills, they are now planning to make 16 more such garbage sites in Delhi. Their leaders have nothing to tell people so they only abuse Kejriwal. That’s how they are contesting MCD polls,” said Sisodia.

The Deputy CM said that AAP is contesting the MCD polls on the basis of development works the Delhi government has carried out and accused the BJP of “hate politics”.
