MLA and Vice-Chairman of Delhi Jal Board Somnath Bharti visited the Yamuna River to defoam the river of toxic foam ahead of Chhath Puja. In an exclusive interview with The New Indian, he attacked BJP for doing politics over Yamuna River and said, “Barrage is in the control of Yogi-led UP government. BJP leader Manoj Tiwari should visit Govardhan in Uttar Pradesh to see the foam there and question the BJP government, which claims to be a Hindu government, for not cleaning the Yamuna River.”
