Enthusiastic fans of both actors eagerly anticipated their collaboration. One fan exclaimed, โThis is bound to be a sure-fire blockbuster! Canโt wait!โ Another chimed in, saying, โThis is going to be a blastโฆ Letโs make it reach the 1000 Crore mark no matter what. Weโre fully behind Sunny Paji.โ Some fans even speculated whether the movie might draw inspiration from Khushwant Singhโs novel, โTrain to Pakistan.โ However, there isnโt much information available about the filmโs storyline at this point.
Aamirโs last film, โLaal Singh Chadha,โ didnโt perform well at the box office in terms of earnings. Nevertheless, it received acclaim when it became available on Netflix. The movie also featured Kareena Kapoor and was a Hindi remake of the popular Hollywood film โForrest Gump,โ originally starring Tom Hanks.

Sunny Deol, on the other hand, is riding high on the remarkable achievement of his recent movie, โGadar 2โ. This film surpassed all expectations by earning over Rs 525 crore at the box office, briefly holding the title of the highest-grossing Hindi film in India, even surpassing Shah Rukh Khanโs โPathanโ for a brief period. However, Shah Rukh Khanโs latest release, โJawanโ, quickly dethroned it from the top spot just one day later.
For the unversed, Sunny Deol and Aamir Khan had not collaborated on a project prior to this one. However, they have engaged in several memorable box office showdowns as rivals in the past. Their first clash at the box office occurred in 1990 when Aamir Khanโs โDilโ and Sunny Deolโs โGhayalโ were released on the same day. In 1996, it was โRaja Hindustaniโ vs. โGhatak,โ followed by the most legendary box office clash in Indian cinema history in 2001, when โLagaanโ released on the same day as โGadar.โ
