NEW DELHI: Indian conglomerate, Reliance, run by Indiaโs business mogul, Mukesh Ambani, announced Reliance Jioโs partnership with software-as-a-service business-to-business selling company Plume on Tuesday.
โAs we continue to expand our portfolio of connected home services, it is critical for Jio to provide our customers the most advanced and secure in-home digital services, delivering the best end-to-end customer experience,โ said Reliance Jio President Mathew Oommen. Oommen added that Jio will continue to strengthen and โenhanceโ their home service offers and the total experience through the partnership with the AI-giant, Plume.
A press release from the communications giant stated that the partnership aims to provide โstate-of-the-artโ services through Plumeโs cloud services to approximately โ200 million premisesโ across the country. They added that through this development, Jio would deploy HomePass and WorkPass consumer services through Plumeโs AI-based cloud platform. Through the partnership, Reliance is also aiming to streamline Jioโs customer support and operations teams to identify, analyse and act faster on performance-related issues, through Plumeโs HayStack.

Fitzgerald added that Plume is thrilled to help Jio deliver a โunique and highly personalisedโ digital experience to its customers across India while promising to support the telecoms unit in the โnext chapter of its growth journeyโ.
Plume is one of the pioneers in the industry of SaaS platforms meant specifically for communications services providers boasting over 55 locations across the world. The cloud-based platform had finalised this partnership at a Network X meeting in Paris.
