As Hamas initiated a huge attack by firing more than 5,000 rockets into Israel, fears have grown regarding the inhuman treatment inflicted upon Israeli civilians by the militants. Appalling actions involving a widespread attack on the honour of civilians, as well as incidents of stripping and parading corpses of naked Israeli women, have been revealed through visuals obtained by The New Indian.
Here are the 5 most barbaric acts done by the militant outfit of Hamas.
- Hamas had infiltrated into the city of Ashkelon, a major city with a quantifiable population of Indian diaspora citizens, where visuals of a drive-by shooting had emerged. A group of militants had taken shelter inside a black sedan, according to the visuals, and en route to their destination of traversing towards the city centre, graphic depictions of blazing guns could be seen. Casualties are yet to be reported from the drive-by attack.
- As per reports, the militant outfit has been on a course of kidnapping and also making hostages out of numerous Israeli civilians. Visuals have emerged of the militants taking an entire family hostage, breaking and entering into their house. The family of five with two children, can be seen with their father lying on his back with his hands stained in blood. In the video, it’s evident that one of the children is led away from the camera’s view, and a gunshot is heard. According to accounts, the couple’s daughter was killed as part of the demand for liberation.
- Another video captured the tragic demise of a friendly Labrador, which charged at the militants who were trying to enter an Israeli citizen’s property. In a matter of moments, the dog was shot and succumbed to its injuries. The video goes on to show the militants completely destroying the house.
- The violence of the militants from Hamas did not leave the extents of the Gaza Strip unscathed either. During the course of the Gaza Music Festival, the militants went on course, firing rounds at the festival with the participating audience running helter-skelter in fear. Bollywood actor Nushrrat Bharuccha was also party to the audience.
- The final act is possibly the most barbaric with an entourage of militants hurling the dead body of an Israeli woman onto a pickup truck. The corpse was then stripped, and presented as a symbol of victory to the Palestinian cause, amid shouts of victory and religious slogans.
Presently, over 700 have died across both sides of the border, with the Israeli offensive also leading to the deaths of many civilians. Over a thousand have been injured. As of now, the Israelis have initiated a blockade across the Gaza Strip, blocking access to food, electricity, and water.
