NEW DELHI: All Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha members will be presented with an array of gifts when they enter the new parliament building on Tuesday.
The gifts, packed in jute bags, will be awaiting the lawmakers on the sidewalk of the hallowed grounds of the parliament.
Inside the bags, they will find a pocket copy of the Constitution of India, a stamp depicting both the new and old parliament buildings, a commemorative coin of the Indian parliament, a book containing the names of all members of parliament (past and present), and a booklet containing details of the new parliament complex, with introductory notes from President Droupadi Murmu and Vice President Jagdeep Dhankhar.
