NEW DELHI: In the heart of India’s capital, as the historic G20 event unfolds, all eyes are on the magnificent ‘Bharat Mandapam’ at India Trade Promotion Organisation (ITPO).

Dominating the center stage is a colossal 27-foot-tall ‘Nataraj’ statue, a masterpiece crafted from ‘ashtadhatu.’ This iconic venue is poised to welcome international dignitaries for the momentous G20 Summit.

The New Indian captures the iconic ‘cultural corridor’, Bharat mandapam a night before the much anticipated G20 Summit is set to unfold.

With an investment of approximately ₹2,700 crores, Bharat Mandapam represents a national endeavor. It will be hosted at the International Exhibition-cum-Convention Centre (IECC), affectionately known as Bharat Mandapam, located in Pragati Maidan.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated this architectural marvel on July 26 earlier this year. It boasts state-of-the-art amenities, including a convention center, exhibition halls, and an amphitheater.

Spread across a sprawling 123-acre campus, the Mandapam stands as an embodiment of modern architectural splendor. This ambitious project houses 12 expansive exhibition halls, meticulously designed to showcase the world’s finest offerings.

During the G20 Summit, Bharat Mandapam, aptly referred to as the ‘culture corridor,’ will feature diverse traditions from 29 countries, including India and special invitees to the G20. This exhibit will seamlessly blend physical and virtual displays, immersing visitors in a captivating experience.
