Kargil Vijay Diwas, also known as Kargil Victory Day, is an annual event that celebrates the triumph of the Indian Armed Forces over Pakistan during the 1999 Kargil War.

The main ceremony commenced on 25th July evening with floral tributes at the memorial site.

This was followed by a memorial service and a visit to the 'Hut of Remembrance,' an adjacent museum.
