Sukesh Chandrashekhar was seen weeping as authorities seized his valuable possessions inside his cell at Mandoli jail in Delhi.

Days after CCTV footage of his prison cell was leaked, conman Sukesh Chandrasekhar, who is facing charges in ₹200 crore extortion case, has once again written a letter to Lieutenant Governor VK Saxena alleging that the clip was released by “two jail officials”, to whom he earlier paid “protection money”.

In his letter to the LG released through his lawyer Anant Malik, Chandrasekhar argued the leak of the CCTV footage of his barrack amounted to a security breach.

“This is to bring to your urgent notice that 4 days ago, a CCTV footage of my cell was released and leaked, which is a security breach and the said leak was done by Asst. Superintendent Mr Deepak Sharma, and Deputy Superintendent Jay Singh,” he wrote.

Chandrasekhar alleged that both of the jail officials have received ₹5.5 lakhs in total as protection money previously.

Last week, the jailed conman was seen crying when jail authorities raided his cell in Mandoli jail of the Tihar Prisons and confiscated some of his most precious possessions.

The jail team recovered Gucci slippers worth ₹1.5 lakh and two jeans worth ₹80,000 from his cell.

In the video, Sukesh was seen standing in a corner inside his prison cell as officials went through his cupboard and other belongings. The team comprised Tihar Jailor Deepak Sharma, deputy superintendent Jai Singh and personnel from the central security forces.

Chandrasekhar further said that he was “threatened and was asked to retract his statements given against them to the Economic Offences Wing (EOW)”.

“Deepak Sharma and Jay Singh as seen in the video came to my cell to threaten and mentally harass me, asking me to retract statements given against them in EOW also,” he said.

Chandrasekhar said that Sharma and Singh called him to their office the next day and said, “You exposed Satyender Jain, now it’s our turn, we will release your video and show the world how you are treated by us. Hence, Deepak Sharma had previously challenged me that he would release the torture video.”
