MUMBAI: Bollywood actor Ananya Panday, daughter of Chunky Pandey, reached the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) office for the second consecutive day to join the probe related to the drugs-on-cruise case involving superstar Shah Rukh Khan’s son Aryan Khan.
The agency on Friday dismissed media reports that claimed there was reference and traces of ganja or weed between the two in their alleged WhatsApp chats.
A senior NCB official related to probe told The New Indian, “There are no WhatsApp chats between Ananya Panday and Aryan Khan related to ganja or weed.”

The official, however, refused to share other details as the probe is underway.
His remarks came as several reports claimed of three alleged WhatsApp chat between the two star kids discussing drugs.
Ananya Pandey was questioned for over two hours on Thursday by the NCB officials here. She was served summons by the NCB officials on Thursday afternoon. She was accompanied by her father at the NCB office for questioning in connection with the case.
Aryan Khan was arrested by the NCB along with seven others on October 3 after the drug law enforcement agency raided on a luxury cruise ship.
A Special court has rejected the bail plea of the star kid and extended their judicial custody till October 30. The bail application of the Aryan Khan was rejected by the NCB on Wednesday stating that if released on bail they can “tamper with evidence” or “commit similar offence while on bail”.
The Special NDPS court in its order on Wednesday also stated that this is “not the first time” Aryan Khan is “involved in illicit drug” activities.
It said, “There is ample evidence in the form of WhatsApp chats of accused no. 1 (Aryan Khan) with foreign national and unknown persons dealing in drugs. There is reference of hard drugs and bulk quantity in WhatsApp chats which cannot be meant for consumption, with unknown persons who are suspected to be part of international drug racket.”
Besides Aryan Khan the NDPS court also rejected the bail application of Arbaaz Merchant and Munmun Dhamecha on Wednesday.
On Thursday, even Shah Rukh Khan went to Arthur Road prison to meet his son. He met him for over 20 minutes after getting permission from the jail authorities as the physical meeting was allowed.
Several Bollywood personalities have shown support to the King Khan after the arrest of his son on October 3.
On Thursday, veteran actor Simi Garewal also took to Twitter and wrote, “In a population of 1,397,642,731 – they can only find these 6 or 8 young Bollywood stars to target for drugs??”
