SS Rajamouli's RRR song Naatu Naatu wins Best Song in Golden Globe 2023

Music composer MM Keeravani has won his first ever Golden Globe in Best Song (Motion Picture) category for Naatu Naatu.

Teary-eyes Keeravani thanked RRR director SS Rajamouli and lead stars Ram Charan and Jr NTR while accepting the honour on stage.

The award went to MM Keeravani, Kala Bhairava, and Rahul Sipligunj for the song Naatu Naatu.

While accepting the award Keeravani said, “Naatu Naatu is a song of celebration... all we wanted to showcase in the song was lots of stamina and energy."

RRR could not win Best Picture (Non-English Language) Golden Globe; lost to ‘Argentina, 1985’.

This is the first film to win a Golden Globe in over two decades to be nominated for the Golden Globes after Salaam Bombay! (1988) and Monsoon Wedding (2001).
