After Kuttey release, Vishal Bhardwaj opens up about son Aasman’s future

Kuttey starring Naseeruddin Shah, Tabu, Konkona Sensharma, Arjun Kapoor, Radhika Madan and Kumud Mishra released on January 13.

It is Bhardwaj’s son’s directorial debut and he is both proud and anxious.

He says when Aasman first told him about his filmmaking aspirations, Bhardwaj was worried.

“I was happy but at the same time I was concerned because filmmaking is a stressful job,” he said.

Commenting on Kuttey, he said he is not worried about Kuttey getting compared with his 2009 film Kaminey.

He also expressed interest in continuing this genre and making a film Kuttey Kaminey in future.

“I am not worried about his craft. How much life he has learnt, we are yet to see that,” he added.

“He (Aasmaan) is young and it's his first film. In your first film, you are fearless, you are not stressed,” said Bhardwaj.
