SRINAGAR: The restive Kashmir valley is yet to come to terms with the gruesome killing of a Kashmiri Pandit, the terrorists struck again as they killed a policeman in the Pulwama district of south Kashmir on Friday.
The slain policeman has been identified as constable Reyaz Ahmad Thoker. He was shot near his residence in Gudroo Pulwama.
Reyaz was rushed to SMHS hospital with grievous injuries. However, he succumbed to his injuries. Police said that he was shot with a pistol from point-blank range.

“#Terrorist fired upon Police Constable Reyaz Ahmad Thoker S/O Ali Mohammed at his residence at Gudroo, #Pulwama. He has been shifted to Hospital. Area #cordoned off. Further details shall follow. @JmuKmrPolice,” Kashmir Zone Police said in a tweet.

A massive anti-terror operation was going on in the area when this report was being filed.
