On occasion of Lohri, Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) launches new campaign song for Delhi Election

NEW DELHI: The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) marked Lohri by launching a new campaign song for the upcoming Delhi elections. The song, titled “Dilli Da Putt Kejriwal,” features the lyrics, “Is Vaari Sun Lo Fir Chun Lo,” and aims to secure all seats in Delhi, according to AAP activist Ram Gupta.

This isn’t the first time Kejriwal has utilized campaign songs to connect with voters. During his first tenure in 2014, the party released “Paanch Saal Kejriwal,” and in the last election, they introduced “Acche Beete Paanch Saal, Lage Raho Kejriwal.” For the 2025 elections, AAP has followed tradition with this new song.

The party also shared the song’s 1:33-minute video on their official X handle. The song highlights key initiatives by AAP, such as providing free electricity, water, and bus rides for women.

Taking a swipe at the BJP, the song mentions AAP’s Tirath Yatra program, which offers free religious tours for senior citizens. Through this song, AAP has launched yet another attack on the BJP.

Meanwhile, Congress is also stepping up its efforts to regain power. Contesting alone this time, Rahul Gandhi is set to hold a rally in East Delhi today, January 13.

The BJP, on the other hand, is leaving no stone unturned in its campaign. Prime Minister Narendra Modi has criticized AAP, calling it AAPDA (disaster), a term that has become a key slogan for the BJP during this election.
