NEW DELHI: Nick Jonas, the singer and actor, has stirred up a storm after endorsing Tesla founder Elon Musk on X (formerly Twitter), leading fans to question the Jonas Brothersโ political views. The exchange began when Musk shared a popular Jonas Brothers meme to celebrate Teslaโs growth.
The conversation kicked off when an X user posted an article titled โElon Musk and the Decline of Tesla,โ noting concerns about Muskโs leadership. The user also pointed out that Teslaโs stock had surged 100% since Donald Trumpโs 2016 win. Musk reposted this, adding a meme from the Jonas Brothers, where Nick and Kevin Jonas turn a table as Joe says, โOh, how the tables have turned,โ with Musk captioning it, โMy, how the tables have turned!โ

The playful interaction didnโt sit well with many of Nickโs fans. Some questioned whether the Jonas Brothers had Republican ties, with one tweet reading, โDelete this. Now. This man is horrible.โ Others criticized Nick for supporting a controversial figure like Musk, particularly given Muskโs public support for Donald Trump. Fans expressed disappointment, with some even mentioning past personal struggles with diabetes and criticizing Muskโs controversial remarks about women.
However, some of Nickโs supporters defended his post, suggesting it was just a joke and not a political statement. The incident highlights the ongoing scrutiny of celebrity endorsements and political affiliations on social media, with many questioning the impact of such endorsements on fan perceptions.
