JAMMU: Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha led a strategic meeting with senior officials, including Deputy Commissioners and SSPs of the Jammu Division, to assess development projects and the region’s security status.

 

Key attendees included Chief Secretary Atal Dulloo, DGP Nalin Prabhat, Principal Secretary Home Chandraker Bharti, and ADGPs Vijay Kumar, Anand Jain, and Nitish Kumar. The Divisional Commissioner, DIGs, and other senior officers also participated.

 

LG Sinha emphasized a unified government effort to eradicate terrorism and dismantle its support networks. He urged officers to adopt a zero-tolerance approach, stating that eliminating terrorism would not only enhance security but also drive Jammu and Kashmir’s development.

He also stressed the importance of monitoring infrastructure progress and ensuring effective public outreach. Deputy Commissioners were directed to prioritize the full implementation of government schemes, promote agricultural programs, and support initiatives like “One District, One Product” to foster local entrepreneurship.

 

Official sources told The New Indian that J&K LG Manoj Sinha urged officers to remain relentless in their efforts until all terrorists are eliminated, stressing the importance of taking exemplary action against those aiding or abetting terror activities.
