Gandhi acknowledged Trump’s victory in the presidential election and praised Harris’s passionate campaign on the Indian National Congress’s (INC) official Twitter account (@INCIndia), highlighting the significance of forging close ties between the United States and India.

Gandhi’s letter to Kamala Harris highlighted her remarkable and impactful campaign, during which she broke down barriers as the first African American and South Asian woman to be elected vice president of the United States. Gandhi praised Harris’ leadership, tenacity, and unshakable dedication to social justice, economic equality, and healthcare reform in his address.
