124 Member Strong New-Look BJP National Executive Team Meets Up In Delhi

New Delhi: The National Executive Meeting of BJP began on Sunday at NDMC Convention Center in New Delhi. Party President JP Nadda delivered the opening address while PM Modi is scheduled to deliver the valedictory address. This is first meet of new-look national executive of the saffron outfit, that now has several new faces in 124-member strong team.

Party’s national executives, office bearers and Union Minister are participating physically while the Chief ministers are attending the meet virtually. Uttar Pradesh chief minister, Yogi Adityanath, who was to attend the meet virtually, flew down to national capital to attend the meet physically.

Union ministers Rajnath Singh, Amit Shah, Nitin Gadkari and Piyush Goyal are also present at the NDMC Convention Centre in the national capital to attend the meeting.
This is the first meeting of the BJP national executive meeting after 2019 Lok Sabha elections.

The Deputy Chief Ministers and State presidents of the party are also attending the meet, albeit, virtually.

The BJP’s national executive meeting that is to be held in every three months according to the party’s constitution is being held for the first time after Covid-19 pandemic in view of 2022 assembly elections. 2022 will see the elections in seven states that include Uttar Pradesh, Himachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Gujarat Goa, Manipur and Punjab.
