In his first ever conversation on his spiritual conquest and his internal conversation with his favourite deity Lord Shiva during his childhood and adulthood, Prime Minister Narendra Modi speaks exclusively with The New Indian‘s Executive Editor, Rohan Dua on the influence of Mahadev, after the completion of 5th phase and ahead of the 6th and 7th phases of the Lok Sabha polls in his Lok Sabha constituency Varanasi.

In this interview held in the city that glorifies the spirit of Shiva in his various forms of Kaal Bhairav and Vishwanath, Modi discusses the mystic connection with Shiva, spiritual awakening and why he despite being PM admits to not having the wisdom to understand the traits of formless and infinite Lord but yet carrying his will to serve the society.

He also addresses the pressing issue of nepotism and dynasty politics plaguing the parties, reminisces about the sacrifices and endurance tests he made during childhood to learn discipline and overcome challenges while sharing anxieties of his mother who reposed faith in his goals and objectives of his selfless life.

He takes on queries on political influence on ED and CBI raids and allegations by the opposition on the raids being politically motivated.
